With a strong reputation among the world’s top DJs, Pioneer’s philosophy has always been to enhance the creative potential of music since 1938. This was a huge client win for us. We knew our event strategy had to be stellar to help launch Pioneer’s latest product at the Plasa exhibition.
Keen to make some noise, we set to work developing our strategic marketing communications plan to ensure the exhibition didn’t fall on deaf ears. We designed a VIP event, a multi-lingual microsite, a six-part email campaign, PR activity in industry-leading publications, SMS ‘after party’ communications and even applications for data capture throughout the event.
The main objective was to create a buzz before, during and after the event.
We were responsible for stand design, build, project management and delivery. An intimate venue with a small exhibition space, our goal was to be loud.
Music technology buyers demand a wealth of information at every stage of their buying journey, and a trade show is a big part of that. To ensure that the brand was represented to the highest standard, we recruited a team of sound engineers and a temporary in-house event manager with heaps of marketing experience.
Dressed in Pioneer branded uniforms and armed with plenty of merchandise, the team helped to bring the brand to life with their industry knowledge and expert skill.
The event was a resounding success. Attracting VIP’s, we managed to capture data via a bespoke microsite and app.
Rounding off the event, there was a top presentation from the head of production marketing detailing the heritage of the speakers and their partnership with Gary Stewart. A job well done!
