A world leader in aerospace, defence and energy, Meggitt uses trade exhibitions and international air shows to engage with customers, prospects, partners and press. Following a corporate rebrand in 2018, Meggitt wanted to update the exhibition stand design at Aircraft Interiors Expo in line the new brand guidelines. Following a competitive tender, DSA were appointed as Meggitt’s exhibition agency partner for the show.

Our design team took their cues from Meggitt’s new graphic devices, including the underscore, asterisk and brackets, when creating our proposed designs. Curved side walls on each side of the space allowed us to highlight the brackets using Meggitt’s spotlight green while also enclosing the private meeting spaces required and providing large graphic locations featuring hero words in line with the new messaging strategy. A large branded cube with internal lighting was rigged above the space to ensure the Meggitt stand was visible from all angles.

With more than 1,200+ of the most influential airline buyers from around the world arriving in Hamburg for Aircraft Interiors Expo, this was a key marketing opportunity for the business units involved. Senior executives from Meggitt were hugely impressed by the new environment and conducted a series of successful sales discussions, ensuring the stand delivered on its marketing objectives.
