A positive first half for Team DSA

By Alex Sargent

It’s hard to believe it’s already July! The first six months of this year have been a busy time for us here at DSA as we’ve delivered dozens of engaging exhibition stands and events across the world for our clients.

In 2019 so far, our team has worked in Dubai, Barcelona, Las Vegas, Hamburg, Boston, Hannover, Singapore, Paris, Wiesbaden, Amsterdam, Vienna, Munich, Guangzhou, Nuremburg, New York, Frankfurt, Birmingham, Cologne, Nice and London. I also squeezed in a quick trip to Madrid for the Champions League Final. Alas, a win for Tottenham Hotspur was not to be…

In contrast, DSA has celebrated some brilliant results in recent months. A series of new projects from our current clients plus some exciting pitch wins have fuelled continued growth. Among others, we were thrilled to be appointed to work with Innospec to produce their stand at In-Cosmetics, with Sigma at Mobile World Congress and with Meggitt at Aircraft Interiors Expo. Still to come, we’re looking forward to working with Skyworth at IBC in Amsterdam and Applied Finance at SIBOS as the show heads to London for the first time.

To manage our growing workload, I am delighted to welcome three new team members Richard Strutt, Kirk D’Cruze and Melissa Heke to Team DSA. Joining us as Senior Project Manager, Richard has spent more than 25 years in the exhibitions and events industry including positions at Freeman, RTH and Clements and Street.  Kirk joins as Project Manager having spent 12 years at event production agency DRP in roles including project management and digital event solutions. Melissa Heke joins as Office Administrator from The Learning People, where she managed sales administration, compliance and HR.

Looking ahead to the second half of 2019, you’ll find us producing more great exhibition experiences at IBC, SIBOS and the K Show amongst others, plus our new business team are available throughout the summer months to respond to pitch requests. If you are attending a trade show for the first time or if you are planning a review of your exhibition stand design, we’d love to hear from you and discuss your brief in more detail.
